Mishol’s goal is to contribute towards a strengthened community.

Groups of adults meet regularly for study sessions on humanistic Jewish subjects which generate a series of voluntary activities for community individuals and organized communal activities.

The group’s unity and shared agenda is crystallized through the joint study of texts from a variety of disciplines and cultures. The study sessions guide the group’s community actions by combining significant educational content with cultural experiences and celebrations from the Jewish calendar.

Creating strong social links is combined with bolstering Jewish and Israeli identity carrying pluralistic and humanistic values. Here as a group the participants take the next step: From the individual who wanted to pursue activities for the good of the community, to a united group, striving to perform constructive community acts on the basis of study insights.
