Led by the homeroom teacher, parent/children study sessions are the bedrock of YAHALOM’s activities in schools.

Spaced over two to three events a year, the class’s students and parents join together in the classroom to share in an interactive study session on value-oriented topics taken from Jewish and Israeli sources.

These sessions not only bond parents and children, but also unify the class and community as a whole. Exploring personal narratives and expressions of Jewish Identity, the sessions also reflect the discovery and celebration of shared values.
